Among typical dishes in Brazil is the omnipresent combination of rice and beans, the famous black beans. In the restaurants are offered meat, fish, and several options of side dishes, being the Barbecue restaurants one of the most popular and appreciated options by both Brazilians and visitors.

In Brazil there is a great variety of regional dishes, as for instance, the Bahiana Cuisine,that includes the famous Vatapá( a type of puree of shrimps prepared with dende oil, extracted from a palm tree, coconut milk , bread and rice).In Rio Grande do Sul, the typical dish is barbecue. In the Amazon is the tacacá, a consistent soup of a type of manioc , with dry shrimps of freshwater. In the beach areas the predominance is of dishes of grilled seafood, and salads. And lots of fruit, always.

The most traditional drinks are natural fruit juices of both popular and exotic fruit, and also cold beer.

The production of an excellent variety of firewater is known all over the world, and the most famous version is a national symbol, the delicious and traditional caipirinha. Another icon is the Guaraná. In its soda version, this drink obtained from the fruit of its name, is sweet and very refreshing.
